Hickory Smoked Whole Turkey – Fully Cooked, Ready to Warm

This is the turkey for people who want Thanksgiving to taste great without spending the whole day at the oven. Ossian hickory smokes each bird low and slow, and it arrives fully cooked. Warm it, carve it, and you're done.

At about 15 pounds it feeds 15 to 20, with a deep smoke flavor and meat that stays juicy all the way through. Carve it whole at the table, or slice it ahead and warm the slices. Add your own herbs or glaze if you like, but it doesn't need much.

Ossian only smokes a small number of turkeys each season, and they sell out every year.

Hickory smoked. Fully cooked. No brining, no basting.

Want ham on the table too? Get this turkey and a whole spiral sliced ham together in the Smoked Turkey & Spiral Ham Bundle.

What's in the box
  • One whole bone-in hickory smoked turkey, approx. 15 lbs (serves 15–20)
  • Fully cooked, ready to warm and serve
Shipping & storage

Vacuum-sealed and shipped frozen in an insulated cooler with dry ice or gel packs.

Keep frozen until 3–4 days before you need it. Thaw in the refrigerator; a bird this size needs the full 3–4 days. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and serve within 5–7 days.

Cooking & serving
  • Fully cooked. Just warm through before serving.
  • Whole bird: place breast side up in a roasting pan with a cup of water or broth, cover tightly with foil, and warm at 325°F for about 2½–3 hours, until the thickest part of the thigh reaches 165°F.
  • Faster option: carve first, then warm the slices covered with a little broth at 325°F for 20–30 minutes.
  • Save the carcass for stock.
The Maker

Ossian Smoked Meats has run the same brick smokehouse in Ossian, Indiana since 1946. The Sorg family smokes a small run of whole turkeys each fall alongside their hams, low and slow over real hickory.

We served the smoked turkey for Easter dinner....fabulous! Better than ham, very moist and tender. What a wonderful change of pace. Thank you so much! Will definitely purchase again from Carnivore.

The turkey was smoked to perfection. It was a hit even with the fried turkeys.

It was a great 2nd turkey for Thanksgiving 2025!
Much more moist than the charcoal rotisserie turkey. If you love Ossian ham like we do, this is the smoked turkey for you.
