Delicious, tender without too much fat. Great flavor.
This is the third Ham I have purchased through Carnivore. As before, it was excellent, both flavorful and moist. It was the hit of the dinner party and the remaining portion mostly disappeared in the take home boxes.
It was absolutely perfect. Following the supplied instructions it was ready to serve in just under 2 hrs.
Everyone raved over the flavor, and how tender it was.
Served with a Raspberry Purée and Mac n' Cheese it fed a large Superbowl crowd with enough left over for a couple of Ham steaks at breakfast the next day.
This ham was the star of the meal! Smoked on my pellet grill at low temp for 15 hours and let it rest in a cooler for another 9 hours. Awesome.

Ham was well packaged and arrived frozen solid. Easy prep so easy to heat. Flavor was outstanding but I would have like for it to be more moist. It was heated per instruction inside a roasting bag and placed in a roasting pan with a rack. Used digital thermometer and heated to exactly 150°.
By far the best ham we ever tasted. Had it for a meal then made scallop pototoe and pea soup. DELICIOUS!!

The ham would have been fine but my daughter insisted on warming it....she left it in the oven too long and dried it out. The cook's fault, not the ham's!
