Skinless Shankless Smoked Ham – Bone-In Tradition, Lean by Design

This isn't just a ham—it's a purposefully crafted cut for those who want all the flavor of a traditional bone-in ham, without the excess fat or the hassle of a shank.

Ossian Smoked Meats' Premium Skinless & Shankless Smoked Ham weighs in at an average of 17 lbs and is trimmed clean for maximum usability. The outer fat and skin are fully removed, leaving a lean, bone-in ham that's ready for the oven. It's naturally hickory smoked for rich, smoky depth and full character from end to end.

Perfect for holidays, family gatherings, or any meal that calls for bold, honest flavor without waste.

All the bold flavor of a bone-in ham—trimmed, refined, and ready for the oven.

FAQ

How do I prepare it?
Bake at 325°F, covered, with a cup or two of water in the pan, until a thermometer in the thickest part (away from the bone) reads the temperature on the package label. Rest 15 minutes before carving. Glaze uncovered for the last 20–30 minutes if you like.

How should I store it?
Keep frozen until several days before you need it. A ham this size needs three to four days to thaw in the refrigerator. Once thawed, keep refrigerated.

How is this different from a country ham?
This is a city ham: wet-cured, mild, and moist. Country ham is dry-cured with salt and much saltier. If you're after the traditional Southern kind, see our country ham guide.

Skinless & Shankless Bone-In Smoked Ham Half

Ossian hams are the best. When we moved out of Indiana, we were unable to find them. Now we just order them through Carnivore!

Skinless & Shankless Bone-In Smoked Ham (17lb)

This was a delicious ham. Really no waste, just lots of good, tasty ham. My brother in law said it was one of the best he ever had, and got the name of Carnivore Club so he could order some.
