Whole Bone-In Spiral Sliced Ham – Hickory Smoked with Brown Sugar Rub

This is the big one. Ossian's Whole Bone-In Spiral Sliced Ham averages about 17 pounds and feeds 20 or more, with plenty left over for sandwiches the next day.

It's hickory smoked the old way, then spiral sliced all the way to the bone so carving takes no effort at all. A brown sugar rub comes with it and caramelizes into a sweet, smoky crust as the ham heats.

Built for Thanksgiving with the whole family, Christmas dinner, or any table where you need to feed a crowd and still want it to be the thing people remember.

Hickory smoked. Spiral sliced. Sized for the whole family.

Smaller table? The Spiral Sliced Half Ham runs about 8 lbs and serves 10–12. Want turkey too? Get this ham with our whole smoked turkey in the Smoked Turkey & Spiral Ham Bundle.

What's in the box
  • One whole bone-in spiral sliced ham, approx. 17 lbs (serves 20+)
  • Brown sugar rub packet
  • Hickory smoked, not fully cooked
  • Ingredients: pork, water, salt, brown sugar, sodium phosphate, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite
Shipping & storage

Vacuum-sealed and shipped frozen in an insulated cooler with dry ice or gel packs.

Keep frozen until 3–4 days before you need it. Thaw in the refrigerator; a ham this size needs the full 3–4 days. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and heat within 7 days.

Cooking & serving
  • Smoked but not fully cooked. Must be heated before serving.
  • Place cut side down in a roasting pan with a cup of water, cover tightly with foil, and heat at 325°F for about 15–18 minutes per pound, until the center reaches 145°F.
  • In the last 20–30 minutes, uncover, apply the brown sugar rub, and let it caramelize.
  • Rest 15 minutes, then pull slices away from the bone.
The Maker

Ossian Smoked Meats has run the same brick smokehouse in Ossian, Indiana since 1946. Four generations of the same family on the cure room floor, hickory-smoking hams in small batches with methods that haven't changed because they don't need to.
